9 requirements for UAE family residence visa

UAE family residence visa Services: You must first ensure that you have a valid resident visa in order to sponsor family members in the UAE. This could be a self-sponsored visa such as a Golden, Investor, or Green visa, or it could be a work visa sponsored by your employer.

You can sponsor your family members after obtaining your visa. You must, however, meet a few conditions in order to be qualified to sponsor your family members. The following nine conditions must be met:

1.If their family members hold a valid visa or residency permit, expatriate residents can sponsor them to live in the United Arab Emirates.

2. The sponsor's minimum income must be Dh4,000 or Dh3,000, inclusive of housing. The kind of work a foreign employee does is no longer a barrier to his ability to sponsor his family's visas.

3. At authorized health centers in the United Arab Emirates, male and female family members above the age of 18 must submit to and pass medical fitness examinations. Those who are medically unfit will not be issued a residency permit. In addition to being deemed medically fit, residents with dormant or inactive pulmonary tuberculosis are awarded a one-year "Health Fitness Certificate for Residence," contingent on treatment and monitoring by the relevant health authority.

4. After a dependent enters the UAE with an entry permit, the resident sponsor has sixty days to apply for the dependent's residence visa. A residency visa must be requested for by a baby born in the United Arab Emirates within 120 days of the baby's birth.

5. You must sponsor both of your parents jointly in order to sponsor them. Official documentation supporting the divorce or death of a parent would be required in order to sponsor only one of the parents.

6. Regardless of the length of the sponsor's visa, the residence visa for parents will be awarded annually. In addition, you must fulfill the salary requirements set forth by the immigration office of the emirate that granted you the visa.

7. A resident of another country may sponsor their daughter as long as she is single and does not have any age restrictions.

8. Until the age of 25, a resident, either male or female, may sponsor their son. The son can be sponsored without any age restrictions if he is a Person of Determination.

9. A resident of an overseas country may sponsor his stepchildren, provided that they meet the requirements set forth by the immigration office of the emirate. For instance, the sponsor must provide a signed no-objection certificate (NOC) from the biological parent and pay a deposit for each kid in accordance with the requirements of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA-D).

Their one-year resident visas are renewable every year.

The following paperwork is needed to sponsor a wife and children: • Application form, which can be completed online or through an authorized typing service. • Copies of the wife and kids' passports.

  • Pictures of the spouse and kids.
  • The wife's and the kids' medical clearance certificates, if they are older than 18.
  •  A copy of the sponsor's business or employment agreement.
  • An employer's wage certificate that details the sponsor's monthly pay.
  • An Arabic marriage certificate that has been verified or properly translated into Arabic by a qualified interpreter. • A contract for registered tenancy.

Cancellation

The supporting family member's residence permit is connected to the family's residence permits. The dependents' visas must also be cancelled in the event that the sponsoring family member's visa is revoked.

Dependents have six months from the date of visa cancellation or expiration to apply for a new residency permit.

The sponsor may be required to pay a fine if they neglect to revoke or renew their dependents' visas.
